Tim started Blue Ivy Partners in 2016 with the vision to serve Federal customers and early stage product companies. He is inspired to work alongside government leaders, innovators, and a new generation of world-class product companies. With a diverse background that began at the Naval Academy with a degree in general engineering, he then served as a reconnaissance communications officer in the Marine Corps, lead national sales teams at Cisco, and launched Arista’s Federal business.


Ever striving to give back, Tim currently serves on the board of a global non-profit, Wine to Water, which works tirelessly to provide clean and safe water to communities around the globe without access to it. His proudest achievement: his three sons, Jack, Peter, and Thomas who make up his favorite golf team.

Jon ogden

chief financial officer/General Counsel

Jon Ogden is the CFO and General Counsel for Blue Ivy Partners. He previously worked in house for one of the nation’s largest independent hotel companies where he oversaw acquisitions and operations of domestic and international properties. Additionally, he has represented a wide array of clients including professional sports teams, municipalities, public entities, universities, and international corporations in the fields of technology, manufacturing, and hospitality.


Jon has a B.S. degree in Accounting from the University of Virginia, McIntire School of Commerce, and a J.D. degree from Pepperdine University School of Law. He is a member of the State Bar of California and licensed to practice in State and U.S. District Courts.

Summer Smith

Director of operations

Summer Smith joined the Blue Ivy team in 2020 and Is the Director of Operations. Whether she is working in the small business, non profit, political communications, real estate, or the technology arenas, her diverse resume allows her to bring direction to our company’s vision. She initially worked to shape our channel efforts. This allowed her to engage with a variety of product vendors, and navigate the balance between developing strategic partnerships in conjunction with our customer’s desire for innovation. In 2024 Summer is expanding her efforts and leading Blue Ivy’s marketing and sales operational initiatives.


Summer is a native of the Pacific Northwest, a fervent lover all all things caffeine, the mother of four children, and has supported her husband’s commitment to serving our country within the technology space for over 20 years.

Morgan Hill

Director of Learning & Development

Morgan Hill joined Blue Ivy Partners at the end of 2023 to bring the team to the next level. She Is refining our learning and development process to support our account managers in their consultative selling journey. Morgan is a proven leader and team player with most of her professional experience coming from a background as an Active Duty and Reserve Naval Officer. She also worked for Gartner conducting business development for their marketing practice which gives her a unique perspective for relating to our sales team.


Morgan lives in Colorado with her miniature schnauzer, enjoys cooking, traveling, and reading, and has recently taken on the responsibility of keeping several plants alive now that she doesn’t have to move every two years with the military.

Mark Perry

Director of Engineering

Mark Perry joined Blue Ivy Partners in 2023 to lead and grow our sales engineering team. He is the proud father of four, an avid golf enthusiast (not good, just avid), and an Infantry veteran. With over a decade of experience in IT solutions sales and consulting, he brings a unique blend of dedication, expertise, and a customer-centric approach.


Having worked at Dell, Nutanix and WWT across almost every segment of the technology industry from Banking & Financials, GSI’s, Healthcare, Small to Global companies to SLED and Federal accounts.

Matt Tucholke

Director of IC sales

Matt Tucholke joined Blue Ivy Partners in 2023 to lead and grow the national intelligence business. Matt is a proven, mission focused sales executive, with over 25 years experience supporting the Intelligence Community. He started his career at Analytical Graphics for over a decade before moving to Sun Microsystems which was subsequently acquired by Oracle. While at Oracle he supported a wide range of IC agencies. Since then he has held senior sales roles with innovative companies like Splunk, Pure Storage, and Elastic. With a deep understanding of the complex landscape of government contracts and requirements, Matt has consistently delivered exceptional results throughout his career.


Matt is the father of two grown children who are the source of his pride. When he is away from the office, Matt is a newly certified SCUBA diver currently working on sailing certifications, enjoys traveling with his wife, and seeing live music whenever they can.

Roger Crombie

Director of dod sales

Roger joined Blue Ivy Partners in 2022 to help us grow our defense business. He served over 24 years in the Army as an Infantry Officer with various assignments in conventional Infantry units, the 75th Ranger Regiment, Joint Special Operations Command, and OSD-Policy. After military service, Roger joined MicroStrategy where he formed and led the Defense Business Unit to become the fastest growing sales team in the company. He is passionate about supplying innovative ideas and the very best solutions to Warfighters.


Roger is a graduate of The Citadel, the National War College, and the University of Virginia, Darden School of Business. A native of Euclid, Ohio, Roger now resides in Alexandria, Virginia, with his wife Kristy and three children. He is actively involved in research projects at the INOVA Children’s Hospital in Fairfax and also serves as the Honorary Colonel of the 16th Infantry Regiment administering the Regiment’s honorary programs.

Larry King

Sr. Solutions Architect

Larry King joined Blue Ivy Partners in December of 2023 as a Senior Solutions Architect

supporting the DOD and IC communities. Larry is a proven Solutions Architect, with more than 35 years supporting the DOD and IC. Larry has worked in several positions during his career to include: Government Employee, Contractor, Post Sales Engineer, Pre Sales Engineer and Account Manager. He has extensive design, installation, configuration, maintenance, and support experience. Larry has worked in the following areas of Infrastructure: HPC, Compute, Storage, BURA, DR, and Networking.


Larry is the father of two young adults who are his pride and joy. When not working Larry is an avid sports fan and often attends NFL, MLB, and Soccer matches. He also enjoys working out, hiking, fishing, and is working to expand his limited cooking skills.

Blake Brown

USAF account manager

Blake joined Blue Ivy Partners in 2023. He started career in the 5th Combat Communications Group in the US Air Force, followed by a decade as an engineer focused on bringing the DevOps framework to FinTech, JP Morgan, and most recently shifted his focus into Cybersecurity by partnering with Teleport. Blake is dedicated to helping customers meet their mission objectives, and strives to support programs who share his passion seeking the best solutions possible.


Outside of work, Blake can usually be found taking his son to soccer practice, honing his BBQ skills, or raising money for the Wounded Warrior Project. Blake is also a member of the AFCEA International Supply Chain Subcommittee.

April Moshos

April joined the Blue Ivy team in 2020. She excels in planning, teamwork and customer success. After 23 years as a public school science teacher, and a long athletic career as a field hockey player-turned-coach; she knows how to keep a team focussed and motivated! She has served as a procurement manager for our software license management efforts supporting Platform One, the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Program, and the software engineering group at Thundercamp.


She is a passionate mother of two adult children and two wonderful young step-children. Her daughter is working in the medical field, and her son is stationed in Japan in the United Stated Navy – which only further solidifies her commitment to “the mission” worldwide.

Brent Boyle

Brent Boyle joined Blue Ivy Partners in 2023 in support of our operational sales efforts. He now serves as the Program Manger for the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center Sentinel Program out of Hill Air Force Base. Having run his own business, Brent understands the importance of hard work, determination, and strategic thinking. As an employee of a tech startup, he gained valuable experience in a fast-paced, constantly evolving industry. And as a top producer at a large physician group, Brent demonstrated his ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment while delivering exceptional results.


Outside of office hours, Brent is an avid trail runner and possesses a coveted silver buckle for completing the Western States Endurance Run in under 24 hours. He also enjoys spending time with his family who take full advantage of Park City, the year round playground they call home.

Kate Clancey

Kate started her tenure at Blue Ivy Partners as the U.S. Air Force Sales Support Manager in 2023. In 2024 she moved to serving as our Post Sales Finance Manager working along side our Account Managers in post sales support. With her background as an attorney, Kate brings effective communication skills, strong organizational skills and attention to detail to help support the success of Blue Ivy partners. Kate is also committed to using her skills to provide our clients with the highest level of service possible.


Kate is a proud wife and mom to a daughter and son. Kate takes great joy in supporting her children in their favorite activities, including scouting and baseball, and can often be found cheering them on from the sidelines. In her free time, Kate is an avid tennis player and plays regularly in local tennis leagues.

In his free time, Patrick enjoys experimenting with new recipes and cooking techniques, and volunteering at their local bike shop. He is passionate about giving back to the community and helping others get the most out of their cycling experiences.
