Chief Executive Officer
Tim started Blue Ivy Partners in 2016 with the vision to serve Federal customers and early stage product companies. He is inspired to work alongside government leaders, innovators, and a new generation of world-class product companies.
With a diverse background that began at the Naval Academy with a degree in general engineering, he then served as a reconnaissance communications officer in the Marine Corps. It wasn’t long before he was leading national sales teams at Cisco, and launching Arista’s Federal business, which led to an IPO and today’s $40B valuation.
Ever striving to give back, Tim currently serves on the board of a global non-profit, Wine to Water, which works tirelessly to provide clean and safe water to communities around the globe without access to it.
His proudest achievement: his three sons, Jack, Peter, and Thomas. These three make up his favorite golf team when they are all together, with an ambitious goal to play each of the top 25 courses around the world in 25 years. They’ve completed two already, and hope to stay on track for the next 23 years!

Lydia joined Blue Ivy in 2022 as Events and Marketing manager. She can be described as extremely self-motivated with borderline obsessive attention to detail. She has over 10 years in executive team support coming from Agency and the NRO in her last role she has unique insight into the customer spaces and event requirements.
She was born and raised in England, landing in Virginia when she was 16 and quickly attempted to ditch the accent when it became clear she would have to read out-loud to all her classmates at the teachers requests if she kept it! She is a proud Mom of two little ones, (Addie age 6 & Teddy age 4) and her husband is both in the defense industry and a Lt Col in the United States Air Force.
Lydia also has a background in web design from her time at the Times Community Newspapers which she used to relaunch our website and is hoping to add more features as we continue to grow! As you will see from our events she is excited about branding and the small details that make a memorable fête every time.
