Blue Ivy Partners Awarded NASA SEWP VI Prime Contract

Since our founding in 2016, Blue Ivy Partners has worked alongside U.S. Defense and National Security agencies to evaluate and procure technology solutions that serve the mission. That work hasn't changed, but our prime contractor position on NASA SEWP VI — the federal government's most widely used technology acquisition vehicle — marks a expansion of our impact as a SDVOSB on both Category A (products) and Category C (services).

What is SEWP VI?

NASA SEWP is the contract vehicle through which federal agencies procure technology at scale. In FY2025, agencies spent $12.1 billion through the SEWP V contract. It is where a significant share of federal technology buying happens. For more information, visit sewp.nasa.gov.

Until now, when a contracting officer specified SEWP as the vehicle, we had to involve a prime contractor in the order adding time, complexity and another layer between us and the agencies we serve. As a prime contractor, that layer is gone.

What it means for the agencies we serve

Federal customers can now come to Blue Ivy Partners directly on SEWP-sourced procurements. One relationship, one responsive point of contact, and one team accountable for the outcome. For the agencies we serve, that matters.

We are also one of a small number of Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses selected in Category A. For contracting officers working toward SDVOSB set-aside goals, Blue Ivy is now a direct option on the government's largest technology procurement vehicle.

What it means for our technology partners

Blue Ivy Partners operates as a federal sales partner for a select group of technology companies to find opportunities with product-mission fit, build the right relationships, and help technology reach the missions where it can make a difference.

SEWP VI expands the range of opportunities we can pursue together. Procurements that previously required a different path can now run directly through us. That means more pipeline, faster execution and a simpler transaction for everyone involved.

We are selective about the commercial technology products we choose as partners, because the agencies we serve demand it. If you are building something that solves real problems for Defense and National Security customers, we'd like to know about it.

How we got here

Being awarded a SEWP VI contract is not automatic. It requires demonstrated operational maturity — systems, processes, and certifications that meet a high bar.

Blue Ivy holds CMMC Level 2 compliance and a facility security clearance (FCL). We are currently pursuing ISO 9001 quality management certification, a requirement within 12 months of contract award. Our management team has grown deliberately over the past year, adding experience and depth in the areas that matter for contracts of this scope.

None of this happened quickly. It is the result of a decade of work with the agencies and missions we care about most.

What's next

Ordering is expected to open on November 1. We’ll be ready.
